“Harvest Wagon of Hope” is written lovingly and shows what it is like to need help AND be the helper. I think that this is such an important lesson for children to learn early on in life. For myself, having been in need of help with food in the past, I can so appreciate what these “kids” are doing. And, I loved how Mrs. Grace not only received help, but also gave help back. These children are lucky kids. They have parents who love them and also take the time to teach them so many things. With every book I read about this family, I just want to reach out and hug them all.

An excellent story that shows everyone, all walks of life, may experience food insecurity in their lifetime. How a small act of kindness, like donating a can of food, can feed someone you know.
